Job Description

Are you looking for an exciting and inspirational new chapter in your early childhood career?

About the role:

As Centre Manager you would be responsible for overseeing teaching practice and curriculum with the support of three Head Teachers. You would also be responsible for the day to day operations, centre enrolments and budget management with the support of a centre administrator. You will also have the close support network that includes a Business Manager, Professional Services Manager and eight other Centre Managers within the Whanganui/Taranaki region. The successful candidate would be responsible for coaching and mentoring the team, building close relationships with whānau/parents and local community, driving the delivery of quality education and care and ensuring compliance standards are achieved.

About you:

In order to be successful, you will need experience in leading a centre or team, an ECE teaching qualification, be registered with EDUCANZ and be fully certificated. A strong knowledge of current ECE practices and ministry regulations are required. We are looking for someone who is genuinely invested in establishing strong community connections and building relationships with parents and whānau, has a ‘growth mindset’ and always strives for excellence, has strong curriculum knowledge and demonstrated leadership in all aspects of curriculum, has the ability to work to deadlines and is an effective problem solver, and is an effective communicator with a positive ‘can do’ attitude.
