SADD’S annual Phone Free 48 Challenge is running 27-31 May, challenging New Zealanders to go for 48 hours over one week without their phones to raise awareness of the dangers of distracted driving and encourage positive behaviour change.
Based on students’ feedback and design input, this year SADD (Students Against Dangerous Driving) is encouraging individuals and groups to accumulate 48 hours over the entire week, instead of a dedicated 48-hour period. The 2019 campaign focuses purely on an awareness of distracted driving.
SADD will be posting daily on the SADDNZ Facebook and Instagram pages and everyone is very welcome to share any posts they see and like or leave a personal message of support.
